Guest guest
Dear Hanan, Is the swollen balloon feeling in your stomach or in the whole of your abdomen? If it is in just your stomach I would say that that is a perfectly normal feeling as prior to surgery your stomach will have shrunk to a small size. As you can eat more it has to start stretching again and that can feel uncomfortable for several weeks until it has adjusted. I can't help if it a general abdominal feeling. I hope there is someone else who can. Between us we seem to have experienced all sorts of different problems. Best Wishes to you from Ann in England. hanan khimish <hkhimish@...> wrote: Hello My name is Hanan I live in Amman - Jordan. I was in the board a couple of years ago, I still read the mails but I have not been mailing for some time because I had nothing to add. I had achalasia for 20 years and had two dilations, I was afraid of surgery because I thought that there are not many doctors in Jordan who have done achalasia surgery. But recently three weeks ago I had to go emergency and do the surgery as soon as possible because nothing would go down no food and no water. The surgery was successful part lap and open at the same time. I regret waiting for so long before doing the surgery because the results are excellent up till now, and I can eat and drink normally but I have one problem, I feel like a swollen baloon especially after eating, For the first two weeks I ate soft food but recently I began to add some bread and rice and fish and meat, and I still feel weak. I do not know if the food is the reason or not, please inform me if you know. Hugs to every body and thank you in advance Hanan Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Hanan, This could possibly be "gas" forming from eating. I recently had surgery and have had problems with gas especially after eating. I feel full and I take a pill that is for gas and it goes away and I was passing gas. Maybe because your stomach did not have food on it and now that it has gas is forming. Millie - Virginia USAhanan khimish <hkhimish@...> wrote: Hello My name is Hanan I live in Amman - Jordan.
