Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Back around the holidays some one had sent a letter to the list regarding taking our children places on certian occasions and the letter explained why our children react to noises, lights, other children etc. It was very helpful and I was wondering if you all remember it and if anyone could send it again I need to print it out. Guest guest
Virginia, You are right, I do read every single message, I just haven't taken time to respond, but I do want you to know that I enjoy your company very, very much. I really wish I had more time to just plop down and visit! :-) I expect my time will free up when Cross Country season is over. Did you see 's picture in the paper? She was so proud of her medal. The girls team has won every meet they have been in this year. We expect they have a good shot at being state champions! :-) My kids have pretty much grown up doing LifeLift. It really shows with as she is my fitness fanatic. It is really showing as she competes. This last 5K she actually dropped a little over a minute off her time from the previous meet. That is pretty impressive! , and are running Cross Country this year. opted not to this year. Anyway, with three kids in cross country, it sure does take up my time. Tomorrow we go to Belle for 's middle school meet. Once cross country is over, I will e starting up the Jump Rope Team. The kids have let me know they want to step it up a bit and possibly do some school assembly performances. I am so happy for you doing your breaths, you know that from our phone conversations. Even though I don't post daily, I do my breathing workout every morning. My preferred method is still while in the stock tank doing my flutter kicking. Yes, I still go out every morning at about 6:30 to do my pool work every morning. It is a bit chilly, but totally worth it. I think it is my turn to serve tea. Shall we have it hot or cold? :-) Love always, Karma Group hug Oh, what a wonderful group hug today was. Wanda: There are a lot of things that I can't do. My focus in my younger years was on what I can't but now I am blessed every time when you and others enjoy my writing and thoughts. When you write back and tell me that it blessed you. It is truly a gift to see the blessing in the midst of the mess. That gift will do you much good. I am happy for you that you and your dear hubby got to spend some alone time together and enjoy a meal with each other. Molly: Your blessing reminded me of one that I got years ago. A friend of ours was going to junk their car because they had had nothing but trouble from it. It was a Chrysler station wagon that had power everything. We (my hubby and me) bought it from them for $50. and brought it home. When we finally got a good thermostat for it ( we tried about 5) it was the best little car I ever owned. It wasn't much for looks but I sure was proud of it. Melinda: I am blessed to know that not only your parents are a blessing to you but your in-laws are too. My dear parents were so good and tried to their best ability to do what was right for us all and live through all that was tossed to them. I wish that I could have appreciated them more when they were here and let them know it. R.: Thank you for cheering me on. Rashelle: Dear Rashelle, I take you for granted too much. The knowledge that you impart to us is appreciated and I, personally, need to tell you more often. Karma: Although your not posting much I know your reading and I must tell you and everyone that your a blessing to me as well. If not for you I would not have known about this website or have met the wonderful people that I have. Being mostly home-bound has some advantages but the greatest drawback is not being able to get out and socialize with other people. I am so grateful that you entered my life and that you brought me to this group. Thank you, my friend. Your Awesome. I have been considering changing my signature to my e-mails for a while but didn't really know what I wanted to put there. Because of this list of blessings that were shared I thought the following would be appropriate as well as a reminder when thoughts tend to stray as they do. I hope you all have a wonderful evening and that you will look for another blessing to share. ;-) Virginia Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsover things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Guest guest
Just wanted you all to know that even though things are getting a little touchy right now, maybe we should all stand back and take a closer look at the enemy...achalasia and not each other! As parents (most of us are), we should know if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. There are a bunch of sayings that could be used -- treat others as you would want to be treated...you know them, you use them all the time. I respect everyone's opinion in here, as I am sure we all do, we just need to step away from the computer before we hit send to ensure we are not doing it in the "heat of battle".
