Looking for information on sleep apenda, having the cpap or bipapm --

Have any of you talked to your Doctors about: can the machines, the

settings, etc. do any harm after myotomy. And anything else you may

know on the subject. I have had machine for two years, just completed

new sleep study due to surgery. Have researched on line, and there does

seem to be some interesting information about what it does because of

the achlashia.

Thanks as always for any thing some one knows

I'm interested--I used to live in La Quinta--who were your doctors?

where did you have your sleep study?

so is it the aspiration which (noramlly) caused your breathing

problems?

what about GERD? and LES PAIN???

those affect sleep MUCH MORE!!!!

I've had my LES ripped/torn/sliced/injected/diced and wrapped (WAY too

tightly!!!).

There is nothing left to do-- but an esophaguectomy, ehich is

impossible due to the fundoplication using the stomach tissue necessary

tto make a pseudo-esophagus

I am just SO sick of this sh__!

or doctors twisting me words: " My esophagus is tortuous, sigmoid-

shaped " , and they say, " patient feels 'tortured'. "

Doctors = EVIL!!

I am so sick

I also have sleep apnena. I had my lap heller w/ a dor wrap in April

2005. My surgeon, Dr Marco Patti, formally of UCSF, knew about the

apena and in fact told me to bring my machine to the hospital, but

never told me of any issues or problems between the Achalaisa and the

apnea. They seemed to me to be two different, unrelated issues. Am I

wrong?
