Guest guest
Another thought on this subject is the school bus driver. I drove a bus for many years and know for a fact the bus driver is usually the last to know about medical problems, it's getting better but make sure if she rides a bus the driver knows. Some schools allow food and some don't. I really love the reaction all of you had, it's refreshing to be understood. those friends do indeed deserve a hug. I also like the medical ID braclet idea. Best of luck to Tia and parents. Jeanie [mt.] Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.

It is in me to snub the needy for being so. It is in me to scorn the sick, the injured and the weak because they are. It seems as if they are the source and result of lies that sap and frustrate the Utopian machine from running with a well tuned order. If I had to sub in over a group of wild young minds while their regular trainer was out it would be temping to see a lie at the root of any such things that require a departure from the rules of order. It would be temping to mold their minds to my will by publicly casting out the apparent darkness by the light of my prejudices. In times like these I depend on the lessons of life to do the right thing and not to simply react to my prejudices. There is no Utopian life in this world, but Tia's heroes are a bit of heaven on earth. They acted as ambassadors of a higher domain. Such heroes show us a better way when even those over us would have us give in to our dark prejudices. They may even have given a spark to that teacher which may in time produce a change. This probably says something good about Tia that her friends were willing to believe in her when an authority figure was giving reason to doubt. I feel sorry for any students that may have been influenced by the sub. One of the students in that class may grow up to be a leader. Will that leader be a student of the lesson provided by the sub or Tia's heroes? notan
