Guest guest
Hi all, i just spoke with Isabella! It was so good to hear her voice! Even if it sounded weak and fragile. She said this also had to do with the vocal chords, which were hit during surgery, but this should improve soon. She didn't have any pain anymore. The worst was the nausea and vomiting. Tonight was the first night though that she did not have to call the nurse, so it is getting a bit better. And although she said the ride was rougher than she expected, the strong and positive Isabella said she was doing good. A bit better every day. Today she had some tea and broth for the first time. She said it tasted wonderful, it went down okay and didn't make her feel sick, so that is good news. She is looking forward to her holiday in Italy! She had already received a few cards from board members and was very happy with them. I am sure she will thank you in person as soon as she can. I told her we all think about her a lot and are with her every step of the way (hope that was okay). I apologize for just posting about Isabella and not replying to any of the other messages of new members or people asking for info. I am still in Austria and working on my cell phone. Will get back on Wednesday night and will check my mail box on Thursday. Andy, Gesche and , I got your messages and hope you don't mind of replying on Thursday. Love from Astrid ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ You rock.
