The Gender and Reproductive Health Research Initiative attempts to map a decade of reproductive health research in India and to examine from a gender perspective, this body of research. This initiative identifies gaps in research with a view to promoting future research that is gender sensitive and focuses on unexplored issues relating to reproductive health research. It also results in a compilation of reproductive health research studies conducted over a decade. This set of six annotated bibliographies and two critical reviews are outcomes of this initiative. The six books cover Abortion, HIV/ AIDS, Reproductive Health Services, Sexuality and Sexual Behaviour, Women's Morbidity and Women's Reproductive Health. The critical reviews are on research on Sexuality and Morbidity. The critical review of research on Abortion and Reproductive Health Services will be published within the next few months.
