Guest guest
Hello all, I am a lerking member of this group. I thought I would fill you in on what has been going on with me. Since the summer I have had problems getting liquids down. Some days would be great other would be very bad. This changed in December to mostly liquids and Cheetos for a diet. So I had another (#2) myotomy with a pyloroplasty done on March 17, 2008, after 2 EGD's one with dilitaion that did not work. I am doing great at this point and can eat anything I want. I even had pizza! I am able to drink coke (haven't had one since 2004) since they had to go back in on the third day post op and remove the wrap. The wrap was not letting liquids go down so we made the choice to remove it and make life style changes. All of this was done via lap, I am only sore now after about four hours of being up and going. I hope I can cut out the pain meds soon. So far the E- spasms have been little and not lasting long. I have only had a few. I am hoping that I don't have any more since they had gone away. Other wise, I have had A- for the last four years. I am 42 now and my Doctor is Dr Pryor at Duke. She has been great to work with.
