Guest guest
Many newbies are looking first for a good doctor in their area, but there's no database on this group's website or anywhere that we can all easily add to and update. So I started a wiki for a directory of doctors who treat many achalasia patients. A wiki is a website that anyone can add to, like Wikipedia. At http://achalasiadoctors.wetpaint.com you can find your region and add a doctor, including as much information as you can (name, hospital, address, phone, email if you know it, additional comments). Just click " Easy Edit " and type into a form. It doesn't matter if you can't fill in all the blanks. You don't even need to log in or provide your name or email, although you can become a member if you want. So far there's only one doctor listed (Dr. Rice, who did my son's surgery) but if half the people on this list each add a doctor, this can become a useful directory very quickly. in PA
