Waking up unable to breath

Hi!

I have had 2 myotomies [1 Lap / 1 Open] and several stretches before

and after my last open myotomy.

My surgeon says there is nothing more he can do for my condition other

than to take my 'e' out.

Although I am eating Ok at the moment i have had several occasions in

the past month when i have woken up unable to breath with a feeling of

something pressing against my windpipe. It is only when i sit up that

it feels like something moving off my windpipe and i can breath again.

But it is quite scary.

My 'E' is very dilated and i wonder if it is squashing my windpipe, or

possibley in the process of collapsing??

Has anyone had any simillar experiences or can make some suggestions

as to what i ought to do??

Regards

Tim
