Guest guest
Hi guy's. I know I havn't been on here for so long. I have been working Interstate, Nursing. Everything is still the same with me, except I am choking a lot more. Coughing and spluttering. Anyway the reason I am posting is I put my pain killer withdrawl on YouTube with a oesphageal dilitation. Just over a week ago I was contacted by the Producer of 60 Minutes. The program was initially going to be about the fact that pain killers are so addictive and they were going to film interviews with a lot of people who had been addicted in one way or another. But after reading my Medtronic story and beating the pain of oesphageal spasm, they have now changed the way the story is going to go. On Thursday morning they are coming to film me going into Theatre for my 50th dilitation. They will talk about Achalasia, what it is? Etc. And the pain it caused me. Going into the fact that the Neurostimulator controlled my pain so successfully that although I still have all these pain killers I choose not to use them. They will come back a few day's after I get out of hospital after my three day's to film Dylan, my son, and I enjoying abseiling and bowling etc. They will also do the interview then. I get spoilt with hair and makeup professionally done. They will then come back on the 19th, after I have had 6 cancers removed from my face, to film my massive withdrawls again from pain killers for 4 or 5 days. Day and night. This will be the FIRST TIME swithdrawls will EVER be shown of TV. So the whole 15 minutes will be on Achalasia. Neurostimulation for spasm control. Pain killers. And pain killer withdrawls. They are rushing the story so I don't have a date yet to when it will be shown. As soon as I know I will post. Just thought I would let you guy's know that Achalasia awareness will be raised even more. Australia
