Guest guest
Hi All, Just wanted to give a quick update. I had my Myotomy and partial wrap May 19th. I had my almost three week check up on Friday and my doctor says I'm doing great. I got to stop taking the Nifedipine and in three weeks I get to try to wean myself off of the Nexium. The surgery went well, except for some breathing problems and the fact that my liver is higher up than what he had thought, there were no complications. I had a lot of spasms immediatly out of surgery so they put me on Nifedipine. I ended up staying in the hospital an extra day because my oxygen level was too low. The stay wasn't that bad, and I got to visit a bowling mom (I have my bowling family back home) who was just down the hall from me because she found out she has Leukemia really bad, stage four I believe. Still no bread for me for at least three weeks, and no bowling, that sucks the most. I went back to work last week Monday and took it easy, so at least I wasn't sitting at home bored out of my mind. I would like to thank everyone for their emails and thoughts, it means a lot to me. Thank you, ~Steph
