Guest guest
Hi , Just read your message saying you didn't get a dilatation next week, as the gastric emptying test showed you didn't need one. But what about your swallowing problems then? You had problems that were worsening you said, are they working on that one? I had my 6th post -ectomy dilatation yesterday and my next one is scheduled for Wednesday July 23rd. After the next one we'll be leaving for Italy and I won't be able to get another dilatation for 4 weeks, hmmmm, hello my good friend back pack (tube feed) that will be! No problem, I know I'll have difficulty say as of the second week that we're away, but when you're upfront aware of that it's no problem. I am so glad to know that within the year these problems will disappear. My doc told me yesterday that he is seeing improvement now and I notice improvement as well (longer lasting dilatation results). I'll need many more dilatations, but the problem will be solved permanently within the year (pfffffft, no more hospital as of that time!). Love, Isabella
