By all means make sure you get your breathing issues checked out but

remember it could be some reflux or some leftovers in your E. I used to

wake up (only a couple of times a year) feeling like I couldn't breathe

because I had aspirated something. I'll still wake up coughing a bit

once in a while because since we don't have any peristalsis, some of

the foods we eat stay around longer than they should. Make sure that

you don't eat anything for about 2-3 hours before you go to bed to give

your E time to clear. I also drink a cup of hot herbal tea every night

before bed to help it clear. You may find that that helps.

Do investigate everything though to make sure all your

cardiac/respiratory systems are good.
