Guest guest
Obviously, many of you should have a competent GI. But having one who has expertise in achalasia, which has been resistant to all the normal methods of treatment, is rare. Does anyone have some names of doctors in the Midwest region who have a proven track record of meeting the needs and conditions related to ADVANCED achalasia? Guest guest
Hey Steve - you are right, many GI specialists, even in large cities only see a handful of us in their entire careers. has started putting together a wiki site for us to add our experienced doctors to so that we'll have an ongoing resource to refer to. In the meantime, I know that Dr. Patti went to Chicago recently and although I've never met him, he is very highly regarded and experienced with A. If you search for his name, you'll find his exact location and contact info. Hope that helps - in NC > > Obviously, many of you should have a competent GI. > > But having one who has expertise in achalasia, which has been > resistant to all the normal methods of treatment, is rare. > > Does anyone have some names of doctors in the Midwest region who have > a proven track record of meeting the needs and conditions related to > ADVANCED achalasia? >
