Hi all,

Just a tiny update here, as to let you know that I am doing fine now apart from

the issues that I was already dealing with before nothing new occurred (pfew).

Soooooo, I seem to be well on my way to full recovery, though it'll probable

take untill coming March/April for me to get get to the point where I want and

need to be.

I get the dilatations against scar tissue every other week now and I get monthly

B12 injections. My voice is veeeeery slowly getting back to normal and my

dumping issues are only veeeeeery minor. When the scar tissue is pushed away

through dilatations (which will stop within the year) I can eat quite normal

portions, not all that small.

During the night I am still on tube feedings, during the day only on my bad

days, usually right before dilatation day.

Today in two weeks we will be leaving for our summer holidays in Italy for 16

days. Last year I had this terrible surgery hanging above my head and now I am

well on my way to recovery. Time makes a lot of difference... It's been a long

road so far and I still have a long road ahead of me, but I am doing better than

I thought and hoped I would. I have my bad days, sometimes I am a mental mess

(especially right before going in for dilatation, so when I cannot eat OK), but

positivity rules and I feel like I am getting back to being myself a bit more

each and every day!

To let you know what I look like I uploaded some pictures in the photo-section

of the board. There is also one picture where you can see my neck scar real

well, you can see how beautifully it has healed so far, considered that surgery

has only been 3 months now.

Love,

Isabella
