I just had a myotomy with dor fundoplication done yesterday morning at

University of Arkansas for Medical Science.  So far so good, the chicken broth

tastes really good.   Diane Rhoden did the surgery.  I feel pretty good today.

I lost about 45 lbs before surgery, and I was never overweight.  I really needed

to get it done.

My prayers go out to everyone on this list.

Dear Jeff,

Those are heart-warming words. I remember the joy you describe there. I think

that it is easy to forget just how much impact this has on those who love us.

They go through pain and hell seeing us struggle. I would have loved so much to

have been there at that moment to see their faces. You can't buy gifts like

that!  By the way, you won't remember that for a while, you will remember it

forever.

Keep taking it slowly. I am hoping for a great new life for you.

With love from Ann
