Dear Sir/Madam,

We are pleased to learn that Bill Gates will be visiting India shortly. Our

organisation has been actively working with children and their families for

the past 11 years. In the last 8 years we have been providing home-based

care and short tem crisis shelter for women and children in Mumbai.

We also work in reducing vulnerability of children in risk situations, specially

with children of women in prostitution. We also work with adolescent girls and

boys on reproductive health issues and community health. A small project

(10,000 migrant population) is covered by the RCH program funded by the

Deepam Educational Society for Health found through DESH (Chennai).
