I've had my scar tissue scraped by Dr. Luketich. It was MUCH more

successful than just having another dilation done. I was sore for a few

days and ate soft mushy food but the long term results were much better.

Hi ,

Thanks! I can use some positivity right now, though I am quite optimistic still.

It's just that often not being able to eat 8 months post -ectomy isn't the best

thing to get one's spirits up, eh? You know, I get dilatations every other week

still and about 10 days post dilatation things close up again, isn't that

incredible? But at least I am getting another hopefull treatment now.

There is new hope, there are new solutions. The docs really do whatever they can

and this professor said he had seen it before, yet he had never seen things not

being resolved. Ha, I told him, your not the first one to tell me I'm going to

be fine, so why should I believe you??? Well, he said, as I have seen 1000

-ectomy patients before and as I know what I am talking about. Please believe

me, you're going to be fine.

I have every reason to believe and trust him. And there's only to gain for me

now, nothing to lose. I am happy my gastro enterlogists referred me to him.

Wow, maybe I can get rid of that J-tube of mine real soon now?! Let's think of

that, eh? Maybe about 1 year post -ectomy it's the final day for my tube!!!

Love,

Isabella
