Guest guest
Steve-You really should seek a experienced surgeon to help make life for you a little more tolerable. You dont have to be so miserable..help is out there but you have to want it and by that means getting with a specilaist who can make you better. Not fix you 100% but make life livable. I dont know if you remember or not but my sons first surgery was a screw up from a non experienced surgeon making him much worse as it sounds you are.I then searched and found this group and then Dr Rice.My son went through heck and back and was in ICU for 8 days! But now after finally geting with someone who knew what the heck they were doing...and he got fixed the right way, Hes gained over 50 pounds,6 or 7 inches and eats what he wants.Yes he has to drink, lay inclined and has the sucky spasms but he is living life without hating everyone around him for having this disease. If a then 12 year old, could go through that and accept the fact one Dr screwed up and he now needs more surgery, then maybe you need to suck it up and do the same. Many people here have done many things be it botox, dialations, surgery more than once or so on but they do it and are better than how you are , and better than what they were. My question is why? Why dont you seek help to get better? Why live life like you are? Your not only angry with the Drs(which I so understand that trust me)but your angry with everyone here.Seek help to get better and live life the best you can with this disease.Dont let it live your life!!!! The choice is yours..... Tonia-mom of who had to stay home from school today cause of another spasm but still...........hes soooooooo happy to be better than 2 years ago when pudding wouldnt go down > > > > Hi, > > I had my Heller's Myotomy with Nissen Fundoplication in August 2003. > I have had > > relatively few problems since then, except for the occasional > esophageal spasm and > > occasional nausea (the bouts of nausea and dry heaving have greatly > reduced over time). > > Of course, I still drink plenty of fluids when I eat.
