Pain, burning 5 weeks post myotomy

Hi my fellow group members! If there is anywhere I can get an answer

I'm sure it is here. I'm so impressed by the knowledge on the board!!

well anyway 5 weeks post op Heller with Dor. No vomitting after eating

which is good, I still feel it " hang up " which is my clue to stop

eating, it seems like eventually it goes through. My main problem is a

burning feeling across my upper abdomen ( basically right across the

lap incision sites) This is bothersome but I can live with it (I'd

rather not but we know we all make compromises!!) what is really

bothering is a deep sharp pain to the left side. It seems to get worse

with movement or if I try to take a deep breath. I went back to work on

monday, it was so bad I had to leave yesterday. Took some liquid

Tylenol at lunch did nothing, when i got home around 4:30 took some

liquid Roxicet. Hadn't done that since about 5 days post op. Called

surgeon, he said it was puzzling, but didn't feel it was urgent. I'm

seeing him next week. He did mention something about a nerve

possibly.Does this sound familiar to anyone? After reading posts it

doesn't seem like I should be having any pain.I am pretty tolerant of

pain, but this is scaring me!! Thanks for any input. from Mass
