Guest guest
I know that before and immediately after my -ectomy, I got email from Dr. Luketich regularly - he answered every question I had. not long after, one of his assistants emailed me and asked me to send everything directly to her - not that he didn't care but he gets several hundred emails a day!! Once I was in a good place recovery- wise, I was able to get my questions answered by his practitioner. I also rarely saw him in the hospital, even now when I see him for follow up dilations (I'm going again Oct. 25) I make sure the anesthetists do NOT give me any pre-medication becuase I only get to speak with him when he comes in the procedure room and I'm already on my side and ready to go. I blurt out 3 or 4 questions and then they knock me out. He comes in to do me in between surgeries - it is part of the price to be paid when they are that good - they are also that busy. I will say that when I do see him, he is very compassionate and caring. I understand your frustrations though. I'd rather take some rudeness and have a good outcome than excellent bedside manner and bad outcome. Hope gets control of his spasms soon. take care, - in NC
