Please, Please, Please get 2nd and 3rd opinions. I know the time

factor is probably weighing on you but trust us, we have seen time

and again that the experience of the surgeon is absolutely VITAL!!! I

mean no offense to your doctor but Sandy is right, anyone suggesting

Botox or Nissan wraps is not up to date on the best treatment options.

Where are you located? We generally can refer you to really great

doctors in just about any area.

All that aside, I was diagnosed at age 15 - after mis-diagnosis for 3

years. It has not been the easiest thing ever but I'm 40 now and I

live a pretty normal life. I'm married, have 2 kids - all the usual

stuff.

Achalasia will never go away but it is very manageable.

Can't really offer any computer help as I don't know why you can't

get to us but I hope someone can. We are really about the only

resource you'll find of this size and we are here to help you.

Keep us posted.

Take Care,

- in NC
