October meeting

Hi Everyone, I'm sorry for such short notice, but I was waiting to schedule the

next meeting to see if anyone else had any suggestions for a more central

location, but since I did not get any other ideas, I am going to go ahead and

schedule it for the Temecula location. I hope that I will see many people there

as we will discuss volunteer options for the workshop and some possible fund

raisers for the group. Feel free to bring the family although there will be no

child care provided, we love to have the kids come too. Anyone who would like

to bring a snack or refreshment is more than welcome. Some suggestions would

be; chips, veggies, dips, drinks (like tea, punch, soda, or whatever you like),

cookies, or just feel free to bring whatever you like. Anyone want to bring a

special recipe to share... you are welcome to do that! Anyway... on the meeting

info:October 6th from 11 am- 2 pm. If this time is too early for anyone please

just come whatever time is best for you before 2 pm. We will wrap up the

meeting between

2 and 2:30 for clean up time as the clubhouse is reserved for later that day.

The directions are as follows: Going either direction on the I-15;From I-15 in

Temecula take Rancho California Road. Go east on Rancho California about 2-3

miles to Meadows Parkway, make right. 1/2 block passed stop sign watch for pool.

Address : 32025 Meadows Parkway, Temecula.This location is pretty easy to find

and very comfortable so we can share information and get up and talk to

everyone. I am hoping that we are able to find a location in the L.A. area soon

as well for those people who are interested in having a support group meeting in

that area. (Any and all suggestions are welcome!). Feel free to bring any

resources or information you would like to share. I am hoping that we will be

able to discuss IEP's and recieving therapy through many different avenues.

We will also finish viewing the video tape and replaying the segment on Inside

Edition for those of you who have requested it. I am in the process of trying

to contact the original owner of this tape to find out if we can make copies of

it or not. Please RSVP by October 3rd if interested in attending the

meeting so that if we do not have a great interest we can have time to cancel

the location as we do have to pay for it. Anyone who lives in an area where

they will be traveling I-15 South to attend the meeting, I

will be coming from the High Desert area and would gladly meet anyone along the

way to carpool. I have a mini-van and seating for approximately 2-3 other
