Guest guest
Hi, This is my first posting. I was recently admitted to the hospital with what looked and felt like a heart attack, but my heart was fine (except for atrial fibrillation, which is normal for me). My son Dan has A and recommended I check out this group because of the severity of the pain and the fact that I felt like something was stuck in my esophagus. I had surgery for my gall bladder and my lower esophagus somewhere around 1975 and have not been to a gastroenteroligist since. However my cardiologist has recommended that I see a gastroenterologist. I do have problems swallowing and choking when eating or drinking cool liquids. Salad is a real problem. Must eat after taking pills to be sure they go down. I live in Davenport, FL so I tried to get an appointment with Dr. Boyce in Tampa (over an hour away) but I had to leave my name and number in the hopes that they will call me back. I will call them again tomorrow. Will let you know how I make out. Dan's Mom
