Guest guest
n, I don't know for certain, YET I started taking macrolides this time last year bec of a nasty cold turned meningitis(?) and overall crash down. 5 weeks in Oct-Nov then again just before my trip to Australia (and during the first 4 weeks of it) in Dec-Jan, then Keflex (cephalosporin) in Jan-Feb for cystitis, then after my major crash in March-April (after the plane trip back to France) I started late April the doxy + macrolides, etc. of the Jadin protocol. Facts: In Sydney, I stayed with a Japanese person who was in contact with other Japanese freshly arrived from the Japanese winter, and she came down with the most dreadful flu I ever seen anyone have. I was terrified, and we agreed she should stay in her room as much as possible, have her own set of cooking utensiles, and a box of paper towels to open and close doors with etc. kept windows open at all times. She was sick for a good 3 weeks and I DIDN'T CATCH IT. While i was in Sydney, someone else near me caught the same and again I didn't. I came back to France early March (still plenty of colds and flus) and NOTHING. In fact I caught my first " something viral " for A YEAR, last week and it only lasted 3 or 4 days of throat scratching and a bit of sniffling, what? not even a touch of bronchitis? No RIEN! Even my husband had it worse than I did with a blocked nose and coughing. This is so weird for me, I can't remember having recovered from a cold without fuss like this! And may I add that last week I was not taking abx (I only started them again this week). What conclusions can be drawn from this? I should add that one of the first things that improved on abx was my permanently infected tonsil, and also my nose seems a lot clearer (I breath more freely). Pbly all connected at the local level (tonsils, nose) and at the systemic level (less intracellulars enabling better functioning of immune syst.) One can only hope! Here's to hoping!
