Guest guest
Hi, I put the sticky blood dx to my lupus list because it sounds like the antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, also called Syndrome in the UK. Here are a couple of answers. CHristie 1: >> " Sticky blood " = ' Syndrome! >> >>Love, Took out name - this person keeps a website for Dr. in the UK. > 2. >Which equals Antiphospholipid Syndrome which is not something that is just >a " CFS " condition. And not something to be taken lightly. I think doctors >are making asses out of themselves if they tell you have CFS or CFIDS then >say " oh and by the way you have " sticky blood. " I think they're putting >the cart before the horse. > >>The coagulation CASCADE may be activated directly by an >>immunoglobulin (IgG antibody), which indicates a long-term >>nflammatory response from varied sources, > >This statement is consistent with APLS/ syndrome. > >Some of the other data given indicate that this hypercoagulation is not >precisely ' Syndrome but possibly due to other problems (genetic >clotting factor abnormalities, etc.) From what I read it makes more sense >to me to say " You have a clotting abnormality which may be causing your >chronic fatigue and other symptoms " rather than " Because you have CFS you >might also have this clotting problem. " Does that make sense? > >This person has lupus and a background in microbiology. > > >
