It has no 'reaction effect', just a quiet improvement... and if you can

objectively measure it, depends on how predicatable and observable that your

symptoms are.... for me, the clockwork timing of waking to urinate at night

was one of my best indicators! For Laurie, the length of time that she can

hold a control pause is her indicator... she started at 10 seconds, and

last night after wearing the mask she was over 24 seconds (a new record and

a significant improvement from a week ago), I have also improved to almost

30 seconds.

You may get a little herx effect after wearing it for a few hours (so you

could feel worse...) that is why having some 'measurement' scheme (like a

control pause or urine pH) is a wise decision...

It is the same for me... I don't feel as if I am struggling for a breath.

The effect is soft. My sister (who's starting CP was a 3 = : / ) doesn't

notice the difference with it ON but can tell a big difference pretty

quickly (within a few minutes) when she takes it OFF.

I prefer the tape - the effect is more noticeable and it seems that my

breathing is altered more permanently but I sometimes wear the mask still.

I use the tape every night while I am sleeping.

I definitely herxed and had to slow down ( I was wearing the mask all day)

.. You will probably notice more trips to the bathroom. I notice my ease in

breathing.

I looked for urine PH strips and could not find any. Any ideas? My CP went

up as well - from 8 to 24 but then I had to slow down (since I am still

working - I can't allow much herxing to go on). Plus I am detoxing from the

glutathione injections. Even 1 baby asprin is overload right now so I do 1

baby asprin every 3 days.
