Guest guest
Thanks Marty. I can't respond properly to your message because of the digest format and I had to open it with notepad. Why did she run the hematocrit. Was she going to try epogen or the other drug for RBC count? Also, I guess what I am trying to get at bottom line is, what test could I have my doc run here (DFW) and then if they are abnormal then treat me for a condition? For example, if I ask him to run the 'cell marker study' and it comes back low NK cell, so what does he do? He won't know. Maybe I missed some of your messages, Marty, but seems to me that part of your talk with Dr. Salvato was, " OK if hematocrit is high (low), what do we do? " Any input you have or anyone else would be appreciated. I know some test are run just to document CFS/disability, but I think we could all be helped if there were tests to be run and specific treatments for abnormal results.
