Guest guest
Ken, The others that pop into my head are: decreased NK cells High homocystene levels C. Pneumoniae Lyme I don't know the percentages. Barb << Subject: Common MEDICALLY testable charactistics of CFIDS (50% or more) Trying to assemble a list of all of the 50% or more characteristics (with URL to source).. The following is my list to date... 70% test positive for rickettsiae [*] 93% has low Red Blood Cell Count [*] 53% has low Plasma Volume [*] 62% has low Blood Volume [*] 92% has a demonstrable hypercoagulable state [*] 96% has neurally medicated hypertension [*] > 60% has a mycoplasma infection [*] Additional ones (Gail?) that I have missed... I like to put % to things and although the studies are not 'definitive' -- they deserve attention. Thanks in advance, Ken >>

Guest guest
Many thanks Barb and others -- will be researching each on the weekend... the purpose is to update my " Characteristics " page with all of the study documented stuff. For non-CFS MDs, such a page (with URLs to sources) will likely help them understand what they are dealing with, and what may be done... page is at http://www.folkarts.com/idef/characteristics.htm - under revision) Ken PS: Just finished my first week of being a 'pro bono gentleman programmer' - it went well, but 4 hrs/day is definitely the comfort level for this type of concentrated mental work. ----- Original Message ----- From: KB46@...
