Guest guest
_____ Months taking Whey [5 ] months Packets of Whey currently -(none) Change is ability to Sleep: [ none] Change is needed sleep medication: [none ] Change in pain level [do not have pain ] Change in need for pain medications [not applicable ] Started taking Immunocal in September- slowly worked up from one half pkg a day to two pkgs day. At that time my standing/walking limit was 10-20 seconds. I started feeling much better- able to go out more (in wheelchair). But standing time never improved. Scheduled some classes. Out almost every day. Three weeks ago I crashed big time. Left me with standing time now of 1-2 seconds. Cannot walk at all. Must crawl/wheel to bathroom. Totally bedridden. Quit the Immunocal and don't know whether to restart or not. I probably will. The whey seemed to mask the fact that I was overdoing it. Kind of sorry now that I ever heard of Whey..... I took Immuncal originally and it gave me a fever I could not tolerate. So did Immunopro but it wore off. Teh immunopro helps my sense of being poisoned/and depression IMMENSELY. However, I can not seem to get a low enough dose to get rid of it's side effect of insomnia. I can't sleep for several nights after taking 1/8 teaspoon once in the a.m. I'm not sure whether I will sick with it or not. The relief is so incredible, but the insomnia is horrible. Guest guest
God I could not help but noticing how bad thing are for you. I have felt pretty bad with CFS but never quite as bad as you are. I hate to throw suggestions at you at a time like this but have you ever had your testosterone level checked. It will not cure your CFS but it might give you some basic muscle strength. What type of Dr. is working with you? How long have you had CFS and how old were you when it started? take care Steve george6210@... wrote: > From: george6210@... > > _____ > > Months taking Whey [5 ] months > > Packets of Whey currently -(none) > > Change is ability to Sleep: [ none] > > Change is needed sleep medication: [none ] > > Change in pain level [do not have pain ] > > Change in need for pain medications [not applicable ] > > Started taking Immunocal in September- slowly worked up from one half pkg a > day to two pkgs day. > At that time my standing/walking limit was 10-20 seconds. Guest guest
In a message dated 00-03-06 00:33:53 EST, you write: << You may wish to try the various anti-herxheimer treatments listed at http://www.folkarts.com/idef/herxheimer.htm just before bedtime... Benadryl reactions are near evil! ; ) I could not access the anti herx sight tonight. Anyone have this olive/lemon oil mixture handy? That's wierd that such a combo should stop detoxing...vegetable fat/solvents are known to encourage detoxing.
Guest guest
Insomnia can be a herxing characteristic -- Laurie developed it for 2 weeks (did not have it before) when she went on the Olive Leaf Extract. It then disappeared again... I also have had insomnia 'flare-up' when I've added something that helps -- biggest / best insomnia remover was actually the antibiotics after the initial herxing eased. You may wish to try the various anti-herxheimer treatments listed at http://www.folkarts.com/idef/herxheimer.htm just before bedtime... Benadyl would be my first choice given your description, then the olive/lemon mixture.
