How is it helping you ?Or is the benefit something u hope to see down the road ? " For me the benefit is down the road. Just like last year when I was starting the Immunocal, I'm not feeling better yet. I haven't crashed like last year, but this time I know not to start at the dose recommended for most patients. But I know it's working. I'm detoxing (strong chemical smell to urine), and I love the idea of all the toxins finally having a way to get out of my body! I know that the antiviral aspect is working too. (I'm positive for HHV6, and I think the whey is restoring some of the immune mechanisms and they are going after it.) I tend to run more low grade fever in the evenings now, and my lymph nodes are slightly more tender. I love the idea it's going after my HHV6!! Right now I am just trusting in previous experience that this is going to make me feel much much better down the road. When the worst of the detoxing and virus fighting are over, I'll be noticeably better. A year ago on Immunocal I ended up with almost twice as much energy, no fever, very little left in the way of aches or pains - no headaches, very few muscle aches, no joint pain, no lymph tenderness, etc. Nothing has helped me feel better than the whey - but it took me a couple of months on the low dose to feel better, and it wasn't until I reached the target dose of two packets a day that I saw the real difference!! Take care. Carol
