Guest guest
We have another milestone at our house. The night before last, had a friend sleepover and we just got busy. The boys and I FORGOT to take our amityptiline at night. This is the one med that gave us a full 50% recovery several years ago. It is a general pain killer, helps de-sensitive all the extra input, and sleep aid. Usually when we miss a dose - it has happen about 6 times in 2 years - is a whining mess by noon the next day, Jordan is flopping all over the house moaning " I don't feel well, hold me, " and I have a bad headache so am not in a very good mood to handle it. Yesterday, we had no problems whatsoever. Nobody felt bad at all. By 9 last night, we were fine. The only thing I can contribute it to is the Peptizyde/ZymePrime. I have been wondering if we could reduce that med after awhile but didn't want to chance it just yet. It's funny because it took me about 5 minutes to decide to do enzymes and it is taking about 5 months to want to discontinue our beloved amitryptiline. We met with the neurologist in July I will mention it. Otherwise I want to keep at 2/3 our normal dose for awhile. But it is thrilling to know that a " slip-up " or " med infraction " won't cost the next day or two. .
