Bromelain is also an antibiotic potenator... it DOUBLES the penetration rate of

most CFIDS antibiotics -- hence you herxed massively....

Laurie has been there (intentionally) and WE has moderated the bromelain to a

level that keeps the herxing active but acceptable. We are both up to 4000

GDU/day (2 gms of 2000 GDU/gm Jarrow's Bromelain).

Other blood thinners are:

Piracetam (incidentally used for strokes in some cases in Europe)

Aspirin

vin (RHodia Rosen)

Wobenzym

There was ugly stress on Laurie this week, with too many symptoms approaching

that of a stroke from it. The above items brought her out of it quickly. Each

one signficantly reduce symptoms. I believe that it is critical that every CFIDS

person and their significant others KNOW THE STROKE SYMPTOMS, and have a planned

course of action if any symptoms showed up. Reread the one sentence in the

townhall that had CAPITALS WORDS in it.... Our MD was not pleased (but happy

about what we did in response) and has written a letter to the Court (for

restraining orders) if there are ANY signs of the same parties attempting stress

and pressure again.

I just got the chance to read Dr. Berg's townhall meeting.

.....

I understand Bromelain can be used to treat this problem as well(just

not as effective as a prescription anticoagulant). Last week i was

in an upscale health food store and the store manager strongly

recommended SOLARAY brand bromelain. He claimed to take bromelain

daily and said he has tried all major brands on the market and this

is clearly the most potent. Are any of you bromelain users out there

brand specific? Did any of you crash after first taking it? I

bought and took this stuff (500mg) shortly after my antibiotics for

two days and really crashed. Thanks
