Guest guest
Hello to the A-team... Last night I had a major panic! I had some thick nasal drip in the middle of the night and couldn't swallow it, could barely cough it out, and therefore felt like either I couldn't breathe or I was going to breathe in the mucous. I seriously thought I was going to die! I tried gargling warm salt-water to loosen the mucous and I tried drinking warm tea...didn't work. After calming myself down, I took some mucinex and after another hour I was able to lay down and breathe without inhaling the mucous. I thought if I took a benadryl that it would put me out and I would die. I don't take medication often so they hits me hard when I take them. I have had a VaTs Myotomy and I can eat fine. I don't have any major cold symptoms right now, maybe just allergies. I don't want to go through that everytime I have a little cold and I wonder what is going to happen when I have a major cold.
