Guest guest
Well darn it... Colleen asked me to jump on here and let you all know she wasn't going to be around much the next few weeks and she beat me to it! lol It's been another wild day and night here.... just now settling down to read mail. If anyone needs to contact Colleen give me a yell.... she said I could give out her number... it'll probably be the best way to contact her. Guest guest
Hi ! You're going to love the AppleUmpkin Festival. You're talking about the one in Wyoming, right? I did it only once because every year it falls on the same weekend as the Naples Grape Festival (which is my home town) but once they had it the weekend before for some reason. Anyway, there were big crowds and lots of happy people! My kind of festival! :-) Wyoming is such a beautiful town too. Good luck! Guest guest
Don't under estimate the power of checking in. It helps you avoid isolation which I think can be a challenge for people like us in the 100+ category. That's a good strong step. I'll pray for you and a successful outcome to your surgery. Guest guest
Oh , how awful having to get rid of your pets -- your 12-year-old daughter must be having a really hard time, hopefully she'll not end up " blaming " the little one.... Maybe you could try to get her involved with a pet-rescue group or somesuch -- where she could be around animals but not have them in her home? Good luck with your back! It's a pain to have it go out anythime, but during pregnancy is probably one of the worst scenarios. Here's hoping that it gets re-aligned (or whatever?) correctly and that's the end of your problems with that. When is your baby due? Sounds like you have a full, busy schedule -- and it'll get even busier after the birth! All I can suggest is, take a deep LL breath, and trudge on forward..... --------------------------------- Start your day with - make it your home page
Guest guest
Dearest , My heart wept for you and your family, pets become one of the family, but you had no choice sweetheart! I am praying for your family and your preganancy. I hope things start to be more calm and peaceful for you. I have been having problems at work but I am hoping they have been resolved. I tried to go to part-time but the guy that was job sharing with me wasn't doing his job and it got ugly, so I am back to full time and he is gone. But I did so love working only 2 and 1/2 days a week. But it will only be for 3 months and then my boss is retiting and the new owners said I can work part-time again. Yea! Hope things are better by the time you read this. Nite, Connie :-)
