Guest guest
Here are a few links on a quick review of Sucraid and CSID, if anyone is interested. , hope this isn't too serious for your wife. It seems to be a very rare condition. EnzymAid does not list sucrase on their label. Devin will need to comment if HNI products will help this. . http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/sacrosidasesystemic203409. html http://www.nursespdr.com/members/database/ndrhtml/sacrosidase.html http://health./health/drugs_tree/medication_or_drug/0913/ http://www.docguide.com/dg.nsf/PrintPrint/AFD9A64E276749C585256647004A 2C8A > My wife just discovered a condition called congenital sucrase- isomaltase deficiency (CSID). The symptoms of this condition match very well with what Ethan has been going through.... chronic diarrhea, gas, bloating, and failure to thrive (has stayed at same weight for about a year). I have found a product (Sucraid) that is approved by the FDA for treatment of this condition... but we are about to start Enzymaid and I was curious if it would help.
