Guest guest
Dear Members, I am currently with Save the Children UK as the Regional HIV and RH Adviser, South East, East Asia and Pacific Regional Office, Bangkok. I would be very grateful for any information and experiences you might have on the role of food and food aid in HIV prevention, Care and Support and Impact mitigation, particularly in relation to children. While this would be greatly appreciated from all over the world (and I am sure members from Africa will have a lot to share and I would request them to please do so) , I would be looking particularly for information and experiences in the context of Asia and specifically South-East Asia. In this regard, I would be grateful if members could send me (preferably electronic copies) reports, studies, evaluations, briefing and position papers, funded proposals, thoughts and experiences of the same. I would also appreciate contact details of those whom you think might be able to inform me further about this matter. Information and experiences on how HIV might impact on nutrition and food security, either directly or indirectly, would also greatly appreciated. Further, what has been members' experiences working with multilateral and bilateral Food Aid organisations in HIV and other similar situations? Thank you for your assistance. I know all of you are very busy people and really appreciate the time you take to respond to my queries. My contact details are given below. Thanking you in anticipation, Sincerely, Jo Dr. ph Chandy, Regional HIV/AIDS & Reproductive Health Adviser, 10th Fl, Maneeya Centre, North Bldg, 518/3 Ploenchit Road, Lumpini, Patumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
