Guest guest
I had an egg nog yesterday for the first time ever! My dietician suggested it to get some protein. It was actually quite nice for my first attempt. I have a great blender that can crush ice, but I can't bring myself to blend meat or chicken, only vegetables for soup. > > I was going to tell you my vitamixer was a life saver > > Sent from my iPhone >
Guest guest
You would be surprised what you can make in food processor. One of my favs so far is to make fettucine and add broccoli to the water once it is boiling. I used to steam the broccoli, but that doesn't go down so well for me right now so I boil frozen broc at least 5 minutes to make it a little ore tender . I put chicken breast in the food processor ( not blender ) and it made it so it looked like parmesan cheese. I added Alfredo sauce and mixed my chicken in with it. I love chicken and this was fabulous. I just got the food processor and right now we are not the best of friends ( cut my finger 4 times - blood everywhere ) but eventually it will learn to do what I want. I also shredded beef brisket, added water and to thin it a little bit. Then put it in a pad and added a chunk of velveeta and served on a steamed bun and ate with a fork. I couldn't eat all the bread, but most of the meat ( of Kim's new version of pate). I would think taco meat would come out good too! Never know until you try!
