4 years!!

Hey everyone - can you believe it? Today is the 4 year anniversary of my ectomy

and life is good!! I've even put on a few pounds again - I am still a healthy

weight but now have to start watching what I eat.

For those of you who don't know me. I have had A since I was about 12 years old

- diagnosed in 1983-ish. Had several dilations - then a heller and Nissen in

1989. did pretty well for awhile but my E had gotten stretched out and baggy so

I went for the ectomy in 2008. Tough time but by 6 months out - very happy with

my results and I couldn't be happier now. I haven't had a spasm in over 4 years

now (cue angels singing!!)

It's been a great 4 years and I would go for the ectomy again in a heartbeat.

Even though I don't post all that often anymore, I am still grateful every day

for this group.
