Guest guest
I just started to get that upper chest pain as well after a night of coughing. Also, the coughing tends to bring on a spasm episode so for me the upper chest pain and spasm pain tends to blend together. Currently, I have not found a solution yet for this pain you describe. I am interested in what others have to say about this pain. Guest guest
I have frequently had spasms after coughing, as well as just an ache sometimes. > > > ** > > > > > > Wondering if anyone else gets a really bad pain in the chest after > > coughing. Guest guest
It worries me to have chest pain associated with coughing - I've recently experienced the same thing. Could it be that we've aspirated and have the start of a pleural effusion? Or could the esophagus " leak " into the chest cavity? Neither is appealing because that brings another whole set of problems that we don't want to have. If anyone has thoughts on this please share. Guest guest
I wish I knew what causes them and what stops them. NCCP can be in the ribs, in the chest , in your jaw and mouth - which I get and in the bottom of your mouth. I have been fighting this horrible viral infection, which is just about gone but still have swollen glands and my doctor wants to send me for a colonoscopy???? WTF!!! It's all frustrating because it is hard to say what is related to A and what isn't/  Kim A ________________________________ From: lindsayaus <lindsay_kite@...> achalasia Sent: Monday, February 13, 2012 4:27 AM Subject: Sore after coughing?  Wondering if anyone else gets a really bad pain in the chest after coughing.
