I can sympathize with you there as i am the same. Never go to a social function

if i can help it. Luckily for me my friends and family understand.

Subject: Re: Dilation time......

Last night I went out for dinner with girlfriends, and while they had dinner I

just had a coffee. I could have eaten a small amount of food, but the serving

sizes are way too big and it was too late (8pm) in the evening for me to eat. I

don't want to fill up my E too much for fear about stretching it. So although I

can eat some more solid foods since my dilation, my mind is telling me don't

eat!! So I still continue with my tiny meals more often routine!

Is that crazy or what?

I have a nightly food/drink plan, and when I change it I always wake in the

middle of the night with spasms.....always at 4.30am!

My plan is to have dinner by 6pm then finish the evening at 8pm with a cup to

tea to wash out the E. On the nights I don't have enough for dinner I wake in

pain, and if I eat past 8am or don't have my cup of tea I wake in pain....it's

that simple!

So nighttime socializing doesn't work for me...break the routine and I wake in

pain for an hour!

A few weeks go by and I get invited out again...I decide I will go and it

'might' by ok this time! Another night in pain and I know it's not OK.

Solution...never go out or socialize at night time or pay the price during the

early hours and the next day.

So yes I can now eat a little, but I still can't have a social life!
