Guest guest
He's a surgeon recommended by Dr. Rosenberg at Beth Israel. Dr. R. said he had done a great many Hellers with a >95% success rate. We've already met with Dr. at Brigham & Women's. We liked him a great deal. He said he's done about 40 Hellers (also with a >95% success rate) one or two a year, during his career. Next week we meet with Dr. Rattner at MGH, reputed to be one of the most experienced in this area. Still deciding with whom to work, so any Boson area ideas welcome. Guest guest
I'd highly recommend MA general, had a very successful Laperscopic Heller with Dr Hutter. You can tell him I recommended him, I' sure he will remember me. Here is his link: http://www.massgeneral.org/digestive/doctors/doctor.aspx?ID=17062 I didn't discover this site until after my surgery; base upon the info on this site I would have gone to Dr. Ratner at the time. I guess thats a good thing because I had had such great success with Dr. Hutter. I think Hutter and Ratner work togather; it would be interesting to know how many surgeries each have done. I live in the BOS area, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. BTW, a link to my history an be found on this site at Files -> Member Stories and History -> s Achelasia Story.
