Guest guest
Great news Carmell! Have a safe trip home! Noelle (12-2-01) Ian (8-15-04) going home! Hi all, We are leaving the hospital later today (Saturday) to go home! Braydon is doing well. He started walking last night and is peeing on his own and doing well. As long as we make the 2 hour ride home in the snow just fine, we'll be okay. He has slept well without needing pain meds in the night. Lots of little improvements mean good things. Take care - will update early next week. Guest guest
Hi Carmell I am so happy to hear that you guys are going home and that Braydon is doing well. Guest guest
Well, eventually I am on my way home. I had my surgery on the 7th of February, but unfortunately the oesophagus wad so dialated that it tore. Fortunately my surgeon saw the tear and stitched it up, but it did mean a couple of days in high care, and 8 days in hospital. I was not allowed to drink anything for 5 days to allow time for the oesophagus to heal. Then on Sunday the sent me for a gastro-griffin swallow to check for leaks. I got the all clear and was eventually allowed liquid to drink It is now Tuesday and I am on the way home. And my lovely husband was here before work with a single rose for Valentines day. If anyone is looking for a surgeon in , Australia I can definitely recommend Dr Low. He is excellent. (Australia)
