Guest guest
No spasm relief from Valium, nitro spray or diltiazem. Pain was a good 10/10. Instead of just helping with the pain and sending me home they medicated me for pain and gave me diltiazem Iv push. This is the first time in 3+ weeks I can say I am spasm free for the moment! Have pain meds, short acting diltiazem and Valium to get me through until Tuesday. I also met my first real life person with achalasia. He told me about his HM and post op stuff. I know I can make it till Tues. Two sleeps! Jenn (who is not spasming at the moment!!!!!!!) Sent from my iPhone

Guest guest
> Hello. I have mentioned this before on the achalasia board, but after reading how much you suffered with spasms I must mention it once again. A neurologist came up with a med for me that absolutely stops these horrible spasms immediatley in their tracks. And we don't have to swallow it and wonder how long it is going to take to finally work. It is a nose spray called Stadol. It works like a miracle and I never am without it. I don't need to use it very often, but it truly stops the spasms like nothing I have ever tried before. I hope this helps.
