These are shows that you won't want to miss!

MONDAY, JANUARY 9TH, CANCER S.O.S. Guest will be Dr. Moshe . An

innovative medical specialist, Dr. currently serves as a Pain

Management expert for health advice sites including Dr. Oz's Sharecare,

LA Splash, In Hollywood, Everyday Health and Organized Wisdom. We are

going to discuss ways to prepare for and maximize your doctor's visit.

Most oncologists have a full slate of patients scheduled for each

workday, so Dr. is going give us tips on how to make each

appointment count for both the cancer patient and caregiver.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 10TH, DIAGNOSIS S.O.S. Because it was such important

information for all women to know, we're going to rebroadcast the

interview with Dr. Linnea Chap, a highly respected specialist in breast

cancer and gynecologic malignancies. Paget's disease of the breast is

often confused with other skin conditions, such as eczema, dermatitis or

psoriasis. Misdiagnosis is more common when both breast are affected and

no lump in the breast is detected. This is a very dangerous form of

breast cancer, so awareness is critical.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11TH, CAREGIVING S.O.S. " Persons with dementia

may be slightly different from other persons with brain injuries. Their

moments of clarity are usually self-initiated, and erupt in short bursts

at unexpected times. My wife, June, was still a very real, perceptive

and sensitive person. " My guest is Fuerst, who cared for his

wife June for seventeen years after an Alzheimer's disease

diagnosis. His book: Alzheimer's Care with Dignity is a

comprehensive guide for any family going through a diagnosis of dementia

with a loved one.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 12TH, TREATMENT S.O.S. The Doctor Who Cures Cancer:

The Story of Emanuel Revici, M.D. by Kelley Eidem When I was

given the opportunity to interview the author of this book, I simply

couldn't turn it down. Several weeks ago, I had an opportunity to

interview Lori Lober. Lori--by all medical standards--shouldn't be

alive. There is much that we don't know and understand about cancer.

From the book: " 100-year-old Dr. Revici has had six decades of success

with cancer patients who have benefited from his discoveries. More than

30 years ago, Dr. Heller, who was then the medical director of

Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center, privately said of Dr. Revici,

'I've known him for ten years. I don't know how he does it, but patients

walk in dead and walk out alive.' " This interview will discuss Dr.

Revici's medical breakthroughs, innovative treatments, and struggle for

recognition.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 13TH, LADIES WHO INSPIRE My special lady this week is

Vernice Armour, author of Zero to Breakthrough: The 7-Step,

Battle-Tested Method for Accomplishing Goals that Matter. Vernice is a

former Captain in the United States Marine Corps who was the first

African-American female naval aviator in the Marine Corps and America's

first African American female combat pilot in the United States

military. She flew the AH-1W SuperCobra attack helicopter in the 2003

invasion of Iraq and eventually served two tours in support of Operation

Iraqi Freedom. But there is so much more to discover about this

incredible, inspirational lady. Vernice, you inspire all of us!
