Guest guest
Hi Rueful,Glad to hear they did not treat you poorly. As far as your question, I am not sure. You seemed to feel that a lot of the symptoms shared on this site fit your criteria. If you are experiencing crawling sensations and sharp shouting pin pricks that would be a good indicator as these are generally not s/s of hives. Good luck,J. From: rueful_existance <jellosox@...>Subject: Updatebird mites Date: Friday, September 26, 2008, 8:02 PM so i went to the derm doc today. luckily they took to the mite idea without any hesitation. the downside is that they didn't think my hives reaction could be from them, as i have no typical bite patterns that would indicate it. they did recommend me to an allergist, so hopefully that leads somewhere. but i am still wondering what the chances are that i have the mites? Guest guest
Hi Rueful, I wonder if it could be that you are just very allergic to birds? Sometimes feelings associated with hives will involve a pin prick sensation. Hmmmm.... Am glad that your Derm didn't shut you out, but instead is willing to try and help. My best wishes to you... Guest guest
Lol the 70's huh? Thats great! I was wondering what the recipe for the borax-peroxide-water solution is? Also if anyone knows how to dilute food grade 35%(?) h202 to the weaker solution that they sell in stores. I have just ordered a parasite cleanse called Revoxil that Z recommends. I think i may be herxing from the ivermectin because the only time i have any relief is when im wearing the roach prufe. I think the new hope 2 is pulling them out but they are still alive, then the roach prufe kills them. So im rotating. I would like to try the borax solution because i am still wary of the roach prufe. I know it works though, im doing much much better on my scalp. Using the bellow duster to dust it in my hair and on my scalp is the best thing i ever did. I swear after the first time i applied it really well, most of them died up there. I think they live in our hair as well, so they can dodge the liquid things we are using. My duster broke though im still trying to work out ordering another one. So worth it to get them out of my scalp. My face is infested the worst. I think it is because i didnt ever apply the roach prufe to it in the beginning. i was too scared to. I am applying it very lightly now. Just an update. More later. Guest guest
Search Doe's posts for the recipe, but you use 1 part h2o2 to 2 parts water and just a tiny amount of whatever borate you have. I used borax bec I'm scared of boric acid. btw while i am herxing it is like my body is covered in invisible but raw open sores. I can also feel lumpy stuff under my skin where I thought I had no issues, and then a couple days after the lumpy stuff becomes apparent I start shedding in that spot like crazy. The deeper the tissue, the more stuff is in there and the longer it takes to get it out from all the levels of fat etc... anyway, my point is, I put the same h2o2 (weaker than Doe's) strength on my skin the third day after I really started shedding and felt like a wire was sticking in every pore. What was happening was I was short circuiting myself since I had all those new paths into my body and thus ready access for the h2o2 to shock all those nerves that hadn't previously been accessible from above. I won't put any more h2o2 on my body until it finishes herxing and heals up, IF THEN. Be careful, it might not happen with your skin, but be ready to wash it right off it the h2o2 creates the same reaction in your skin. I have ordered a case of the Roach Prufe, which I plan to use in my environment wherever I can get it in or under everything. I will test it on my body but really don't want to do any more borates on my skin ever, unless I am desperate. Less toxic, if still not really good for me, is the Pink Oil, which I have had to reach for since it controls both the itching and the biting during the herxing. Have been experimenting with healthier organic oils, adding tea tree seems to be somewhat helpful, but PO still kicks butt. Trying to quit, though... Hang n there, sweetie katie > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What product best to heal skin after herxing hundreds? > > > > > > > > > > Although the devastation is not visible to the naked eye, > once > > the > > > > > herxing really got under way, I can no longer put a lot of > > things > > > > on my > > > > > skin that I did before--and I'm not talking toxic stuff, just > > > things > > > > > designed to burn a bit such as anything with clove oil, > citrus, > > > like > > > > > that. > > > > > > > > > > I need to know what is the most rapid and cost-effective way > to > > > > heal my > > > > > skin? > > > > > > > > > > * ESP New Hope I or II balm? serum? lotion bar? soap? > > shampoo? > > > > > * DSP product (if so, which)? > > > > > * MSM lotion? > > > > > * Other? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Holly, I too had problems with the windex and ammonia hurting my lungs...Learned my lesson, never again!>> My skin is clear again. I cleared it out with ESP NH2 soap. I havent had time to go to the sauna as much. I think the sauna works more for getting them deep out of your skin. The ESP has worked well for clearing them out. My skin has been purging which i have never experienced before. We still have not cleaned out our attic though and i know they're up there just waiting for me. Im going to spend a couple of days snuggling my kids before i go up there. Guest guest
I dont think theres a way to do that here in small town Pennsylvania. Guest guest
Holly, my brother has an electric torpedo that he uses to heat his garage instead of propane one. Might be a thought to try. Guest guest
Hi Holly, I'm happy to hear that you are clear again. When you say purging, what exactly do you mean. Is it when you can feel the little demons coming out? I thought I was almost done with this nightmare, but they have flared up again!!!! I'm so afraid that someone that I work with will end up with these nasty things. I'm so sick of worrying, and dealing with them. I just want it over. When I went to work the other day, my head was feeling somewhat crawly. I got a couple of bites/hives. At the end of the day, I had taken some papers out of a file to go through, and I ended up with many little bites/hives all on the inside of my right arm (some on my left too). I was so discouraged, with the bites and the crawly head, so when I got home I dampened my hair, and put some of the ESP shampoo on my head and covered it with a shower cap (yes, I finally found them at Walmart). You're only supposed to use a small amount of this shampoo, but I used a lot, and left it on for several hours. That was a mistake, as now my scalp feels like leather. My head has been crawly for the last couple of days. I'm still using the ESP bar soap rubbed onto my hair, and scalp at night to go to sleep with. It's so hard to feel, and do normal things when this is going on. I really need something to moisturize my scalp. I picked up some Tea Tree Oil - skin and scalp treatment. It's a little 2 oz. bottle, I found it a Walmart today. I have and have had RP down for quite some time. I know it's hard around here, because we are also fighting to keep/get them off of our dogs. I have two and my brother has one. All three our Miniature Schnauzers. Could you explain what your purging is like. I don't see anything coming out of my skin, but I can feel them coming/crawling out of my scalp. Sincerely, Bummed out Sue My skin is clear again. I cleared it out with ESP NH2 soap. Guest guest
It definately sounds like you are purging. The thing is that you want to kill them when they come out because they get in your environment. Rp in my hair did the job. You will go through that with the ESP. It gets worse then better, then all over again. In the beginning purging felt just like that-crawly. I couldnt tell either, but in retrospect yes it was purging. But now that im free it happens when i get in the shower. I will feel an itchy spot, and i will go to scratch and there will be a bunch of gritty sand feeling things there. That went on for a week. Now when it happens there is only one grainy feeling thing. I think this is what the final purge is like. I also frequently felt this on my hands after using hand sanitizer. Is there any gyms in your area? Would do you some good to find a sauna. You can take measures to not infect other people. The best way that i found to kill them when my scalp was crawly was to dust Rp in my hair. They cant live in your hair with it in there. Nobody ever knew i had it in there either. I know how you feel i work at a bar and i was always so paranoid about infecting people. Not to mention holding my own baby. Luckily i never did. I also would puff roach prufe all over me before i left the house and on the bottoms of my shoes. I felt that this helped with passing them on. Keep up the good work and always do your best about not infecting people, and you hopefully wont. Also use alot of hand sanitizer. If you can bring those files home to bake that would be the best or put menthol crystals in that file cabinet. Sorry for typos my kids are waiting to watch a movie and snuggle. Guest guest
Holly, can u put a bug zapper like mine up there? I hang mine on a portable light stand...I hang it in the kitchen then switch it to the living room. I posted about it before, dont know if u read it. It uses the blacklight to draw them in and whamo...lol. Plus I bought a ionic pro from walmart and run it constantly...100 dollars i think. I keep it in my bedroom and I believe it works. My own personal opinion but maybe if you put these two things up there and let them run for a while.....hmmm, might help. Oh yeah, found an incense at the health food store one time made from NEEM oil. Maybe you could burn some on the ladder and blow it up that way with a fan...Let me know if u want some and when i go back to our hfs I'll grab u some. ttyl, chas> >> > My skin is clear again. You can just sleep with the cap on and shampoo like normal in the morning. It will help ur scalp and its not too hard to get out...Suave daily clarifying should get it out. Hope u find relief! chas>> Hi Holly,> > I'm happy to hear that you are clear again.> When you say purging, what exactly do you> mean. Life is good with no mites there to ruin every second of every day. > I would have cleared them out earlier but i kept getting reinfected from the floors. I put DE down heavily and it cleared it up. HOWEVER, i had some lung problems with it. I had sprayed out our rental car heavily with Windex, and accidentally breathed some in. Then i noticed the DE kicked up much much more than the RP. My lungs were hurting so bad. So please be careful when using windex or DE. I have never had that problem with RP.>
Guest guest
I bought an outdoor bug zapper from HD - the $25 flourescent light one, not black light one for $45 - and have it plugged in 24/7 in this " hot spot " . I also have 2 ultrasonic bug repellers plugged in. It's been about 3 weeks now but I don't think they're helping for me Results may vary from person to person. One person on Finding 1 Cure swore by them. -k > > > > > > My skin is clear again. I cleared it out with ESP NH2 soap. I havent > had time to go to the sauna as much. Guest guest
I have never gotten mine back from my father in law, i would rather avoid the drama and leave it there. Im trying to not spend any more money right now because i just ordered 2 lbs. of menthol crystals, and huge ESP order for me and my mother. We want to save our money for our move. Cali is expensive. I have RP everywhere up there, but when i was up there it felt like they were jumping on us from the ceiling. We have been thinking about buying a torpedo heater, using it then returning it. Thats probably our best bet. > > > > > > My skin is clear again. I cleared it out with ESP NH2 soap. I havent > had time to go to the sauna as much. Guest guest
Tommy this is a good place to be. Even if you do become reinfected, it is much easier to get free again since they will only be surface infested. If you do feel something that means that you have hit a hot spot. When this happens to me, i immediately throw my clothes in the oven, and hit the shower and masque with NH2. Then spray anywhere you have touched, and the shower. Wash your clothes when they get out of the oven.Keep any dirty clothes bagged. This is what has helped me. > > From: Holly <hollyjane11@...> > Subject: Update > bird mites > Date: Friday, May 1, 2009, 5:38 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My skin is clear again.
