Hi everyone! Haven't posted in a while but read daily. Had my HM with fundo Nov

2008, and am much better, still occasional issues but tolerable. Last week i

suddenly developed a gnawing pain in my jaw, figured maybe grinding teeth withut

realizing. The pain then progressed to the whole right side of my face to my

ear, with pain in my teeth. I have never had a cavity so i assumed maybe that

was it or an abscessed tooth. Starting taking anti-biotics to be safe just in

case. By Sunday pain was so severe i went to ER. BP was 195/100! had a CT which

was normal. Got preliminary dignosis of Trigeminal Neuralgia. Saw Neurologist

which agreed. Bloodwork done to rule out MS, Lyme, auto-immune disorders. MRI

tomorrow. On regimen of gabapentin, percocet for breakthrough pain and they want

me to start Baclofen.I remember reading that with Achalsia the nerves in the

esophogus " die " . Does anyone think there is a potential link here? Hope all my

fellow achalasians are ok. Thanks
