Guest guest
Hi Devin - I too had one very odd looking & feeling incision and all the others healed really well. My surgeon told me that it was the only one that had to go through all the muscle layers, only one with stitches below the superficial level, and that it was the one that most of the tools were inserted through. Basically, that the others were healing faster because they had been through a lot less. I was pretty convinced it was infected or worse, and it definitely took a lot longer to heal than the others. just my experience,, hope it helps. I don't see Dr. Melvin until Feb. 17th and it's a 2 hour drive for me to get there so I wondered if anyone had any thoughts. It looks like an incision with a burn all around it, with scratches around the burn. Weird huh? It doesn't really hurt anymore, but the incision is in a large indentation in my belly, almost like a second belly button, and above it the skin pouches out into a bump and there is something hard under the bump. I don't know if this is scar tissue or what but it is kind of freaking me out. Is this normal? > > Thanks > > -Devin
