The doctor did find a hernia that was pushing the stomach up into the esophogus. They removed that and removed some decaying food at the base of the espohogus. I was very tired yeseterday when I got home so I did not post anything. I am resting now taking a lot of naps. I was able to eat blending food yesterday, it went down with no problem. Guest guest
I am 7 days post HM and I have migrated to a " normal " eating pattern. I use ibuprofen once in a while but not often. I still keep a glass of water handy I have had some very minor sticking issues but not enough to worry about. I just need to remember that I have to take smaller bites and chew thoroughly. I am hoping to go back to work in about another week hopefully. Glad to hear you are doing well. To all those who are scheduled for HM, I wish you the best of luck.
