Her doctor gave his patients a little card about the size of a credit card (she carried it in her purse) it said, my patient, _name___________, should be allowed to purchase a child size portion because of stomach size she cannot ingest a large portion... signed Shamblin MD _____hosptial , city and state i had forgotten about that until you said it. we were somewhere and had ordered and she was allowed to do that, they scaled it down and she didnt over eat,, (except she is back large again now but that was like 30 years ago) i remember her saying that she always was able to do it. the server would take the card to the manager sometimes but they always let her she said.. i had forgotten all about that till just now..
